Looks like I got a bent set of idler wheels from Yamaha. Threw them on the sled tonight and she certainty wobbles. Took wheels off sled and thew on a vice and they are not round.... to say the least. Going to exchange and hopefully don't get another "not round" set. Anyone else come across this...
Well, looks like we will be adding another Viper to the fleet. 2018 Yamaha Viper RTX with 1300 miles for 7500$.. its already studded, has taller windshield, handguards. Just needs a set of C&A's and Bill Mohr shock spring. This personal bought it in March 2018 for 11K so feels like I'm getting...
Who's got the most miles on their sled this season?? I'm sitting at 2100 for the season, and looking to add a few hundred more this coming weekend. Might pack it up after that. Been one for the books, that's for sure!
Has anyone shimmed skis on the C&A pro skis? I've got 1200 miles on my sled, and the front before the carbide is wore pretty good, but overall carbides are in REALLY good shape considering the mileage. Figuring if I shimmed skis I'd see a great improvement in carbide life. Has anyone had good...
Hi all,
I've got about 1100 miles on my Viper this season on a set of C&A Razor Skis with the 6in Woodys Doolys on them. Really like the setup, although this past weekend I was pushing more in the corners than I would've liked. Checked my carbides at the end of my ride, and the front of the...
Hi there, rode my first 500 miles on my sled this past week in the UP, but noticed a few odd issues. First one being coming to a stop after a good acceleration pull and letting off the throttle to come to a stop, the sled will backfire. Curious to see if anyone else has had this same issue. Also...
Couldn't pass this deal up. 2005 Triton 10ft Enclosed Trailer. A little damage up top from a tree at one point. No leaks, new tires, new led lights. $1400. Thought I got a pretty good deal to upgrade trailers! :-o:-o Facebook deal of the day I guess!
I recently bought a new leftover 2018 Viper RTX SE in August. Went to move it to a buddy's shop today to hopefully stud the sled this week sometime. Anyways, went to start it, wouldn't go first key cycle. Let it sit, a minute, let fuel pump prime again, it started. Ok. Loaded it onto the trailer...
Are tunnel protectors standard on 2018 Yamaha Viper RTX or do we need to add protectors in? Bought my studs and planning on installing in the near future. I’ve hear lots of mixed things regarding tunnel protection for the viper...
Just added skis to ditch the crap tuners that came on the sled. Was wondering if anyone is adjusting toe in/out. Sled has no miles yet so figured it would be fine but wanted some input from people who have more experience installing skis.
What did everyone pay for their snowmobile studs? I'm used to paying around $1.50 for stud/backer/and nut. From what I'm seeing online doesn't look to be the case anymore. I'm looking for 1.325 studs for a 2018 Viper RTX with the 1.25 track. Any input appreciated! Thanks!
