Makes you start to wonder if anything really new for the sidewinders . By the looks of some of these pictures looks to be 2 strokes or smaller 4stroke ??
I guess I have to see if these upgrades work , I will ride my SRX ( if I get it , lol ) the first 1000 km then take it apart to inspect wear . The run of selling gears with my bronze bush upgrade in Ontario might be slowing down with this option. Also looks to be a different jackshaft … better...
So I was lucky enough to go away on a week trip with 2021 850 s from the other manufacturers. Skidoo xrs x , 850 matrix, & a cat 800 . All were stock other than carbides on the cat , and studs .
It gives you great perspective when you ride all 4 back to back . I can say I was very shocked mostly...
Riding my buddies Polaris VR1 , the dash with gps , trail map & group ride on trail maps is a must have for me to upgrade from my 2021 srx . Wondering if I'm ordering a 22 SRX ....lol
Bought this 3" sandals trail muffler from hurricane for lthe purpose of “ lake racing days “ . Ran it on the trail , it’s a bit louder at idle than the 2.5 trail muffler. But from 5500 to 7000 higher speed cruising its actually pretty good And about the same as the 2.5 on the trail . It’s...
Time for port matching, it probably won’t gain much but it gives me something to do .. lol
The Yamaha exhaust gasket is matched almost perfect to the head outlet openings, makes you think Arctic cat made the exhaust manifold.. lol
Besides guys running Thunder rollers, any other rollers or bushings out there that won't push out on high hp tunes ? I'm starting to chew these up like a fat kid in a candy store .... lol
Just doing my weekly check of my clutch Found one of my rollers would not turn took it off found the bushing had moved over and jammed against the washer.
On the weekend I noticed on my temperature on the intake was about 10-15 warmer with the aftermarket intake than a stock intake temperature reading while riding ( switch to another sled ). Anyone else notice this ?
