Ok 2010 Rs vector ltx gt Oil reservoir was empty so engine couldn’t start but added oil in reservoir to the right level then engine starts ok until warm then leak starts from inner under belly. Any idea why is that?

I'm new to yamaha and bought a used 2010 rs vector Ltd gt I believe the gearing is 24-39 I am wondering if I can change the top tooth down to 22 without changing the chain and without effecting the reverse?
