I totally agree. At the time I didn't know anyone who had a magic load for our stock weights. I've since met someone who does. Would be alot cheaper and pretty much , since I've set mine I haven't adjusted them again.....

Un-even stud pattern. A no no??

Wow, that is a good looking track. Have u run it yet? Notice any vibrations ?

Un-even stud pattern. A no no??

Okay, thanks for the insight. I'm that guy who comes home after every ride and puts a wrench on every stud looking for a soft one and often have to change one or 2 when the tips shear off. Original owner seemed to be very gentle on the track and I've it's only been tuned for the last 1700...

    Sidewinder trail gas range.

Ya, I couldn't be more happy. Mileaged my apex upto 20,000km and switched to the srx for the comfort upgrade so now I rode even harder. But tuned and running a 22t has helped. Now my 900t friends all share roughly the same range as i

    Sidewinder trail gas range.

My 2012 apex range was about 160km with or without the ex up working, the 300 tune in my winder gets the best mileage and my light goes on around 180. But can vary obviously depending on company. Def better range overall. Im no longer that guy who's light always comes on first.

Un-even stud pattern. A no no??

Good morning all Basically my scratch lines suck. You really only see 4 chewed into the ice after a pass with 2 equally modded cats that get me everytime. Both studded 144 but utilizing the outsides as well.. With my track becoming aged at 6000 miles I was considering just adding 24 to the...

When is it time to replace front drive axle bearing??

Ya, your bearing and shaft served u well, but u will need one of each as others have mentionned. 3 of us that ride together, mileage between 8-11,000km. 2 of them needed bearing and shafts, one needed that , plus when his bearing let go it allowed the rotor to chew into his chassis and required...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

So I've logged 1000 miles on my stryke skis with semi snow trackers. I think its pretty dialed in. I also installed the 260 cat spring and that has made a big difference in handling the rough stuff without bottoming out my front skid. Steering wise, zero darting after aligning my skis which were...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Trust me, that repaired hole is killing me, looks good from the top.

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Yes, this season I've ran my tuners with full carbides x 2 both around 80 percent condition for 1000 miles so far. No darting but hard, hard steering. I have calluses where my fingers attach to my hands from pulling those bars through every corner... those 60 percent dollies were half the...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Snow trackers should be in today, I rode them so far with about a 3mm homemade shim in the back which is the way I ran my tuners so the ski sits just a tad tipped up. Using a 1/2 worn set of dullies from a chum and so far the thoughts are. Lighter steering, zero darting with a little push when...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

I will see what I think for sure. For this week until the new trackers show up, I borrowed a in good shape used pair of dually's with about 6" of carbide. Will see how these fair out against my original tuners with similar condition carbides...

6-3 on v2 , xs825 with stock helix, dalton red/blk primary, dalton's @ 74g, 22t keeps me 1 sled length ahead of my cat buddy on a good roll on. Hes trying everything under the noon day sun to get me, both running 270 most of the time...cold primary, secondary warm with zero blk marks.

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Well, I finally recieved my stryke skis and went with semi aggressive snowtrackers for starters. Two cats I ride with are enjoying their aggressive ones . Just fyi on the trackers fitment...I believe I ordered the newest version 20113 and they are still too short of a bolt on then, they...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Do I ever have a great 300km ride for u once u stop working, lol I'm still not believing they will come off backprder and be shipped like Yamaha said on the 22nd. They were showing in stock until 2 days after I paid and then the emails came in..... hmmm. I've read every post on cat skis with...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Of course, I should have checked that site. I'll remember that for next time. I just wasnt sure cause its the tuner skis, I thought maybe Yamaha may have had their own rubber to mount it to the cat spindle which is now different on the newer sidewinder so I just figured everything might be...

    Stryke ski on 2019?

Hey folks, I'm done with my tuners on my 19srx. Strong arm steering and pushing like crazy with a wierd tendency to hook and lift inside ski is driving me bananas when riding with two other cat turbos. So Yamaha Canada claims to be sending my skis out on the 22nd and I cant find anywhere if...

Low boost issue solved on a tune sled

So hard to tell when your trying to find 300hp of traction on regular lake conditions but I def hold my own and have them worried.. I have 5000 miles on my studs. I bought the sled used with a not so great pattern and only leave 4 really good scratch lines so i will always be struggling with...
