Yup seems like my sled don't like the bitter cold . Need to keep it in my insulated garage or face a no start. Digital display black will not cycle itself . So this has been going on for awhile it seems? Worried about going out overnights if I can't find a heated storage for the night.
Heading down Long Lake today, lots of bumps. Hard pack trail and got 114 mph on speedometer . Machine still had more but saw the end of the lake . Machine has 450 miles on it .
Mine is stock with 378 miles and I've seen 100 mph. Ran out of room, machine was still pulling and I was on hard pack snow. It was not a flat surface but wow what a pull.
I guess I should invest in some relays then, just in case. I'm assuming Yamaha knows of this issue and have not come up with a fix. I've herd talk of this on other threads so this isn't a new issue.
My SRX has done the same thing. It doesn't seem to like the bitter cold. I left it in my trailer and when I tried to start it, nothing. It was -27 celcius. this has happened to me twice now. I never knew about the relays so now the machine stays in the garage and I load it up in the morning. The...
Yes she's conservative in the trails but has no problem pushing the throttle out on the lakes. Not scared of the cold and loves ice fishing . Great riding partner but does not like loosing a race. Lol
Yes I am heavier and I was quite impressed when I started pulling away .There was a few seconds I believe that we were side by side then the SRX started pulling ahead .
Well we were cruising across a lake both of us on hard pack. We were at 50 mph and we pined the machines .The SRX pulled ahead of the Tcat and kept pulling ahead. Also noticed from a dead stop the Tcat clutching engages at around 3600rpm .The SRX clutching engaged around 2300 rpm . Machines...
The limiter strap must be tied down good cause there is no ski lift on either machine. I'm happy with that cause I'd hate to see the turbo engage in a corner and lift those skis lol. But for top speed I guess you want that ski lift to remove weight from the front end?
