I am looking at replacing my 2009 xtx track. I have a lot of trails i use but am constantly leaving the trail looking for fishing spots in the boonies. I have a 1.25 on it now and its not cuttin it. I was thinking that with the amount of trail I do and ice fishing I do I need a track with 1.5...
I rocked into the season with the same issues. It got new donuts and the 3 pipe was cracked all over and I had it welded. (look for micro cracks too) The exhaust wasn't' put on correctly that's why it broke IMO. That bar in the tunnel cover that goes over the 3 pipe was not installed properly...
This summer when you have time check the bushings out on the front end of the unit. I had to take all the bushings out and replace them. That may be the problem. I know thats not the best thing to hear but its not that big of a job. Especially if you have the plastic ones in now.
I have tuners it still darrs a bit but i put plastic wedges behind the lower ski bumpers. They tip the skis up significanly and distribute the weight on thw back half of the ski. I found it helps.
