You are correct about that. My local dealer ship does both cat and yamaha, I just always correlate it with yamaha because that's who produced my motor.
I called my local dealer and they said there is no chance of yamaha replacing that engine for me. They claim it's not even worth calling being that it was a 16 bought in 19 so it looks like I'm s.o.l unless someone on here has a good contact with yamaha.
Yea I can try, I bought the sled as is with no warranty from a dealer in Wisconsin and I'm in Michigan but I can try. How do you think they would feel about the mods?
Found the culprit, looks like a rod blew through the bottom of the engine on the center piston. 1400 miles on the engine any thoughts as to why? Also where do I go from here

So I need some more help guys. I was given a pcv for a 2014 viper which plugs right into my 16 the problem is that the pcv is a pti and my o2 sensor won't plug into it. Is there a way I can make this work? Can I just leave my o2 sensor plugged in and run canned maps through the pcv or maybe...
So your High Country is clutched the same as my 129" ZR which is so far out in left field it isn't funny. Sleds are quick but have terrible response and backshift.
I'm realy surprised you like all that weight in the heel with the stock secondary. How is your backshift ?
If your budget allows a...
Ok so to revive this post a little now that the season is over and I am needing some more help. I out the ssi 54-68 weights in my primary to replace the 64gr. Stockers. I would assume this machine has a low altitude kit in it because of the 64gr. Weights. I did the stingray airbox mod and a...
