    Wow,new to me

Congrats. I got 06 apex few years back. Under exceptional lake conditions I hit 113 on the Speedo, lots of fun. Put 8 inch double runners on this year, eliminated darting at high speed. If you want to have fun, remove your transfer rod out the skid then romp on it, your headlights will point...

    Hard starting when cold

Had a similar problem, replaced my battery and removed foam padding so I could more CCA amps. (Idea on this forum somewhere) It solved the problem but I am in Northern Canada and I still need a booster pack if it’s sat in -30 for a few days if it’s not plugged in…

    Old bravo... injection oil

You can get 2 stroke injection oil that is full synthetic. I believe previous owner was running this. Just wondering if it’s overkill or worth the extra cash. Thanks again for the replies!

11" Skins on an 06 Apex

2nd update. Just had a big dump of snow over Xmas and went Trout fishing Jan 1st. Lake was full of slush. In the afternoon me and a guy on a skidoo 550fan rev chassis went for a rip down the lake, he got stuck behind me... you definitely feel the front end float and get no accumulation making...

11" Skins on an 06 Apex

UPDATE Skins came in and they bolted right in place. A rivet on each end to hold them snug and it’s a done deal. They look crazy wide, not enough snow to truly test yet....

11" Skins on an 06 Apex

How wide are they? Would I need to buy loops and runners as well or would stock parts transfer?

11" Skins on an 06 Apex

First off, researching this site is what lead me to recently purchase an O6 Apex. The fact that you guys are boasting over 20,000 miles with little problems was unheard of for me. So for that, thanks! Now, I primarily ride on the lake and slush is everywhere so I was looking at 11" skins...
