Oh there was no weight on the front when I tried turning the adjusters. I even took the tension off the spring and couldn't turn the collar. I'll have to use a brass punch. I also stop by the dealer to get some lower ball joints.

Yep forgot to trim them after putting the new ones on the rail. I trimmed them best I could without removing the skid just by removing the rear axle. Not as bad, should be OK after a little bit of riding, just no reversing for a bit till they wear.

So I've finally got around to pulling the skid, I just want to make sure I'm doing this correctly before I go cutting rivets and drilling holes. It just lays over the top of the existing plate I assume. Some of the rivets line up, I also assume I add ones in places where holes are drilled
