Hey guys, hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. I could use some advice. Purchased a Stock 2014 Viper xtx (3329 miles) March 2021. Last season (previous owner) the sled was driven 184 miles on a fresh engine and chain case oil change. Should I change it again before next season...

Unintentional, rookie move by a newbie. Just getting use to the forum. BTW this is an awesome forum, it has helped me so much. I'm just getting back into sledding after 20 or so years. Bought my sled in March of this year so I haven't even had a chance to ride it...chomping at the bit.

To clarify, Max adjustment on center shock is to be at it's stiffest setting (all threats exposed)? Thanks again for your help. Amazing fourm so informative and helpful...especially for the rookie.

Should the track/skid be off the the ground when adjusting rear shock pressure and should the skis alway be off the ground when adjusting shock pressure? Also, does it matter if it's summer or winter when you make your adjustments?

Hey guys I just purchased a 14 Viper with 3329 miles, stock except can. Do I really need to be concerned about the jack shaft bearing? It has fresh chain and engine oil so I'm hoping I can just ride it next season and then break it apart come spring then inspect and replace whatever is needed...
