Last year I heard of 06 Attaks chain case leaking or blowing out gaskets.I bought a new 07 gear case and cover and seals but never installed them.Is it worth replacing, as the dealer will not take them back now. I am selling the sled but not sure whether to do the upgrade or sell the new case...

Do to the frontend unfixable problems my 06 Attak is going away,it is just dangerous off trails..Love 90% of the sled,hate the weight and frontend.Also alot more issues then I expected from Yamaha.I truly feel Yamaha has a little more work and they will have a great sled.Heated bars,chain...

Or just buy a sled ment for snow without spending a pile of money to make it work.

Try some WATER WETTER by RED LINE. If I let my sled idle in the shop for 15 min. the heat light would come on but now it can idle for 30 min, and no heat light.Never had the light come on since I added the stuff( or maybe my light is burnt out??) Try it,it works!!

Ran mountain skis on some trail with skis shimmed and was good with stock carbides.Handled quite good.Just about no darting.

No picture but if you imagine the silver part of the seat all black.Looks better in my mind.

How does it handle in off trail conditions?My attak seems to dip towards the front corners in crusty snow or if you are driving 30-40mph in softter no conditions it wil pull hard right or left with out warning and want to almost roll in that direction.Does your 07 do that??

Just to clear things alittle the 900 Polaris is not a very good engine most say, but it gets the same fuel milage as my 4 stroke in off trail use.

Shocks were good.P.S. Rode with 2 Polaris 900s this Sat. and after 65 miles we fill our sleds, Polaris #1 took 18.56, Polaris #2 took 19.31 and My Attak 4 stroke took 19.06.Go figure,and that is supposed to be JUNK engine????? Still can't get it to handle in OFF trail coditions.On trails this...

Rode all season and the black did not wear off.Looks factory and new yet ,even with storage bag straps rubbing accross it all season.Used SEMS vinyl black and did as per instructions,used the primer and scuffed as per instructions.Bought at AUTO SUPPLY STORE comes in all colors.

Does anyone know how many pounds of nitrogen is supposed to be needled into the fron shocks of a standard Attak?

Does anyone know if powder hounds handle better off trail then Apex mountain skis??
