thanks for the help. it ended up being front drive bearing. dealer spent hrs trying to find problem at my expense. i should have told them to come to this site for help.
update: dealer just orderd anti-ratcheting drives today. sending track away to have 3rd window cut and clipped. I have to pay for parts. yami paying for labour. Iwill let everyone know if this solves problem. Thanks again for all your advice.
does anyone know of a solution to fix track from ratcheting. dealer has replaced chain case cover, chain, gears, track and know front drive as we speak. it does not matter how tight track is it will still ratchet in deep snow or on hard packed surfaces. please help me and my dealer if we have...
my dealer just replaced mine on my attak. He was told by yami rep. to replace cover since I have had alot of trouble with reverse. They also replaced all the gears under warranty.
has anyone had their studs hitting the back of the tunnel on the Attak. Almost hitting the exhaust. Running 162 1.325 down the center. Dealer says should not run then down the center they will hit at high speeds. Does anyone think these should be a warranty item.
I changed my first set at 200mi. Second set at 600mi. Not happy so far with the wear issue. Dealer says other people are complaining of wear issues to but yamaha says it is from lack of snow. I ride with the same Polaris guys all the time and they have no wear problems.
