The shaft tapers as it gets near the tunnel mount, and the bearings were junk I had around. The snap rings are crap, the old phazers had em and they sucked there also. Came back from a trip in March with the snap ring slid all the way out, the wheel destroyed. Luckily it must have happened right...
Just pulled one apart on an 18 XTX, one screw a few turns loose, the other, two threads from falling out. The screws had cut a slot all the way past the chamfer for screw head. They had tons of loctite residue on them. tightened and welded. Poor design (surprise!), Installing DMC top gear and...
Like packed plowed roads. Anything over 45mph is unpleasant. 150psi rear, 85 ski, 250# rider.
I have seen talk of heavier front skid spring.
Suggestions welcomed.
Have tons of handling experience with the Delta boxes, not so much on the cats.
Any body know the number of teeth on stock gear, looking to order DMC top gear and havent taken it apart and might not get to it for a while but would like to have parts on hand. Thx
I just installed a GSE power steering kit on a 2018 Sidewinder XTX. Easy install, great fit. Seems to work well on cement/grass/gravel. No chance to actually ride it. Appears well made/engineered. You would never know it was an add on by the look of it.
Bought an exup delete header a month ago. He called me back the next day. I ordered late morning on a friday and recieved my shipment monday. He might be busy planting, it is that time of year.
So, while installing my GSE power steering, I lost track of the hose routing and have 4 hoses I'm not sure of their destinations. If anyone is under the hood of SW I would much appreciate some help with the hosing coming off of the solenoid stack up front.
On a side note, the GSE kit fits...
