Hi Guys, I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find an answer. I have the 128 relocation kit on my sled with a studded Cobra track and I can't get any of the power to the ground. I also have the mpi 180 s/c kit and it seems the slower I press the throttle open, the faster the...
Hi guys, I was on the verge of getting rid of my Nytro when Grizztracks (Fran) saved the day.
I've been chasing an overheating problem this season which turned out to be a bad head gasket. After talking to Fran I was able to see the bubbles in the coolant and accepted the fact that it was the...
SW did pretty well at the shootout. Went through the gates at 101 mph. 1000 feet. Polaris was second fastest at 96. The new 850 was 2 or 3 mph slower. Cat was about the same.
what are you guys seeing for top end with boost? I have the yami / mpi 180 sc kit and was able to hit 117 on gps over the wknd. I think the speedo read 120 / 121 - it was hard to see because I was ducked down
has anyone tried the mpi cold air intake? I have the 180 sc kit on my Nytro and I'm wondering if this will make a difference.
Any performance gains? Change in rpms?
Does anybody know the difference between the high and low elevation mpi supercharger kits? I noticed port yamaha has the high elevation kit on sale for about half the cost of the low elevation kit. Can it be converted at a reasonable price?
So it looks like a new Viper and a Nytro with a factory supercharger are about the same price. It comes down to chassis vs power. I can't decide which one I'd rather have.
Does anyone know the angle(s) on the stock helix in the FX Nytro? Also, I heard there was slight differences in the SE clutching in comparison to the other Nytros - does anyone know if there's any truth to this?
Has anyone tried putting in shims in the back of the secondary to raise their belts? I obviously haven't had a chance to test with my 09 yet but the belt looks pretty low in the secondary. I remember trying to adjust this in my RX1 but it tightened the deflection to the point where it was...
I was wondering if anyone has some realy world experience with both of these tracks. I was leaning towards the cobra - especially since I still should have clearance in case I decide it needs studs. I know the Nytro has some clearance issues which is beginning to worry me - especially since I...
Here are some pics of the RTX SE and Malinoski's old race sled. It looks like they pulled the protectors off to fit the big lug track on the snow cross sled. Half the track had studs, the other half didn't - any reasoning behind this? On a positive note - the rep I talk to said that the Power...
Does anyone know if the track clearance on the new RTX SE will be any bigger than on the RTX's? I'm looking to snocheck one and am wondering what's the largest lug track I'll be able to install on it. I won't run without studs so removing the tunnel protectors is not an options. Thanks for any...
I was able to pick up a set up heavy hitters for $100 (used) but they came with a very limited amount of screws and washers. Does anyone know where I can up these parts?
Also, I've read the tip weight should be lighter than the mid wieght. Does the only apply to Mountain machines or...
I'm trying to run the 89L-00 weights (43 grams) on my 05 RX-1. The belt is slipping quite a bit and the clutches are getting very hot. I'm running the OPO spring and the RPMs sit at about 10,200. The spring has about 8 miles on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the belt from...
