    Best trail ski?

I had a great riding experience with my 2014 Viper LTX with Snowtrackers mounted up to the stock skis. Minimal darting, durable, and easy steering. I’m Currently demo’ing some Curve Skis that my brother had laying around. I haven’t had a chance to ride much so I can’t give an honest opinion on...

how many miles on your yamaha?

After reading some of these reported mileage claims, I'm embarrassed to say that I only have 3500 miles on my '14 Viper LTX. WOW! Good job T.Y. Riders.

    2020 Release

I’m just gonna dream of a new Yamaha built two stroke sled. If it happens, it happens. Until then I’ll enjoy my ‘14 Viper LTX for another year or two. Poo & Doo have me looking.

    Replacement skies for 2014 Viper

Bite the bullet and make your wife HAPPY!! Sno-trackers on '14 ski's is what I have and they just simply work. It's like adding power steering to your sled, something your wife will appreciate. If my wife rode a Viper (she rides a Doo 900 ACE Gade) this would be the very first mod I'd do.

Yamaha is now offering 20 year/100k mile engine warranty on new sleds

With these winters lately, it would take me 100 years to get that kinda miles on my sled. Lol

    Yamaha Cutting Production for 2019

I'm with you on this Cannondale. My brother just bought a new 850 Gade, so I have had a good look at it (haven't ridden it yet) inside and out. IMHO, it's engineered very well. Time will tell on engine reliability and longevity. If I went new, this would be the sled I'd buy, but I'd still...

137 Ltx se or xtx 141 please help

My '14 Vipe LTX was the worst riding snowmobile I have ever ridden!!! I revalved both track shocks, and installed lighter torsion springs along with a dual rate Cat FTS. It really helped with the ride quality. I sure hope Yamaha has fixed this since 2014!

    Yamaha Cutting Production for 2019

I told the Yamaha Rep that was at Novi about my love/hate relationship with my Yamaha Viper. He was concerned, but didn't have any real answers (not surprised). I also told him if they could get a yammie powered direct injected 2 stroke (700 triple is my wish) in a cat chassis that there would...

    Studding LT-x 137 inch track

I'm at the Novi Snow Show now. Gonna pick up 96 and go with that for now. I can always add more in 24 stud increments.

    Studding LT-x 137 inch track

Do you guys and gals think 96 studs is "enough" for this Viper? Looking for advice. I mainly trail ride/tour with some off trail/two track riding. I'm thinking the Flying "V" pattern so I can add more later if needed. Thanks for the reply's.

Can you Push/Pull Start a Viper?

Push start like a dirt bike? I'd pay good money to see that!

Riden hard and put away wet!!!

Thanks. I'm 4 hours south of the Soo with No trailer at this time. Hoping to have a new tow vehicle and trailer next year. I will be sure to keep you in mind. I may need some recommendations of hotels in your area also. Does Ontario still have the free weekend pass special offer?

I'd love to have a guided tour in your neck of the woods. Maybe someday I can get up that way and take you up on that offer.
