I’m just gonna dream of a new Yamaha built two stroke sled. If it happens, it happens. Until then I’ll enjoy my ‘14 Viper LTX for another year or two. Poo & Doo have me looking.

Bite the bullet and make your wife HAPPY!! Sno-trackers on '14 ski's is what I have and they just simply work. It's like adding power steering to your sled, something your wife will appreciate. If my wife rode a Viper (she rides a Doo 900 ACE Gade) this would be the very first mod I'd do.

With these winters lately, it would take me 100 years to get that kinda miles on my sled. Lol

My '14 Vipe LTX was the worst riding snowmobile I have ever ridden!!! I revalved both track shocks, and installed lighter torsion springs along with a dual rate Cat FTS. It really helped with the ride quality. I sure hope Yamaha has fixed this since 2014!

I'm at the Novi Snow Show now. Gonna pick up 96 and go with that for now. I can always add more in 24 stud increments.

Do you guys and gals think 96 studs is "enough" for this Viper? Looking for advice. I mainly trail ride/tour with some off trail/two track riding. I'm thinking the Flying "V" pattern so I can add more later if needed. Thanks for the reply's.

Thanks. I'm 4 hours south of the Soo with No trailer at this time. Hoping to have a new tow vehicle and trailer next year. I will be sure to keep you in mind. I may need some recommendations of hotels in your area also. Does Ontario still have the free weekend pass special offer?
