Thanks Mr. Sled. I have looked at maps online, I am finding out more info . I like to know to know for places to stop. Good restraunts, The best hotel to stay at in Marquette ? Which way to Marquette is better and why. I know alot of guys/gals on this site have ridden in these areas. Should we...
I have not ridden in Michigan in over 25 years. I want a change in scenery. Looking to ride from Brimley Michigan to Marquette. Im looking for info on online maps, trails, milage, restraunts, taverns things to see in the area. Im not sure how many miles it is. Lol. Any info would be...
I had the same issue this year with my 2016 Viper. ended up being the brand new batteries x2. I bought what I thought was a decent battery but they didn't hold up. They always showed over 12 volts off and over 14 when sled is running, but when it tries to fire it when cold it would out the...
Hello I have a 2016 Viper lx dx. Only 3000 km. I just replaced my battery. I have always had the Viper start blues but it has always started. I have the lastest flash. I bought a new battery in December. When my sled is cold it wont fire up. Cranks until the battery weakens but no fire...
You could try the Moflow knee vents. With the amount of heat that comes out of them it has to help keep motor and clutch heat down a bit. I did not test before and after. But I believe they help.
From experience I would stay away from the Venture TF. Not that's its a bad sled just big and bulky. I owned a Venture GT, great sled no issues other than the size. My wife would drive it and her arms would get tired. I own a Viper now and its a great handling sled. Wife can handle the Viper...
I would recommend running strips of 1/2 #plywood down each side of the trailer. It would save the trailer from the carbides and it would lift the skis up that much more hopefully allowing the skis to sit higher than the rails. Good luck.
Yes you are correct. Your exhaust has to be stock or STAMPED Yamaha on it. Lol. That's why I want a quiet muffler, if its not loud when you get stopped they wont wont look for it. Its the guys that you can hear 2 miles down the road that are the issue. That has been my experience. My buddies...
I"m in the same vote. I hate the suitcase in there now. I don't like the idea of not being able to check my chain case adjustment. The space difference between the factory and aftermarket is huge, it has to help with the heat build up under there. And of course the weight savings helps. But I.m...
I also had the GGB on my Viper . Didn't last long. It was not bad when you are on the throttle but the low end drone noise is bad. Anyone want to buy it ? Lol. I would like to try another muffler but won't until I actually hear one for myself.
Dealer tech. told me to cycle fuel pump a few times. Turn key let pump fire up turn off, do the same thing 3 or 4 times then turn it over. Has not been cold enough here to really put it to the test.
Not sure where to post this. Looking for good trail maps and info. Planning a trip from Soo Michigan or Brimely Michigan, to Munising or Marquette, maybe down to Escanaba. I have not been on the Michigan trail system in a very long time. Any info on nice hotels and restaurants that are just off...
I paid $89 for my Xenon LED headlights. I also have 2 seasons with no issues. I can't compare to others as I have not had enough seat time with them. But I would definitely buy Xenon again. I have bought other led lights from Superbrightleds and they worked well. $250 does seem quite expensive.
