How about the tunnel coolant hose that can tear apart, especially when your touring?? That's enough to keep me thinking.

    2019s

I would have to think that they are discounted prices, due to the much higher MSRP on the SRX.

    2019s

I asked for these prices from a dealer. I would think they are discounted. "Bob, price on 2019 thunder cat es 137 track is 15,325.00 and with I ACT suspension it is 15995.00. Hope to hear from you soon,"

Would like help with my chain tensioner.

That's encouraging that it's normal. What is the average life of a chain do you think?

Would like help with my chain tensioner.

I serviced the chaincase and the adjuster seems to be over adjusting the chain. I have attached a pic of Rockerdan's photo and one of mine. My adjuster is much more tighter on the chain. Installed a new spring on the tensioner with the same result. Any help will be appreciated

    2018 STX-DX 146"

I have 2,973 miles on my '18 STX-DX 146. I added 6.9 Pilot skis with 8" Woodys in the center and 4" on the outside as recommended by ROCKERDAN, pleased with the result. Fuel mileage is between 13 and 14mpg consistently. The 146 handles the stutter bumps nicely, but my next sled will have a...

    Need Help Identifying Bolt

I have had other issues. I'm not comfortable getting too far from home. Rode for 2,668 on this Sidewinder. The remainder of the year I'll be riding my 15 Apex with 10,574 miles. Since 2007 I have had only one warranty repair on my other sleds. That was for a stator on a 2007 Attak on the 5th...

    Need Help Identifying Bolt

Thanks for the quick replies. It was a turbo bolt. Sadly I have to admit that I am very disappointed in the build quality of this sled. Nothing like the many other Yamaha sleds I have had. Most likely I will finish the year on my "15 Apex. Safe riding.

    Need Help Identifying Bolt

Found this bolt in the belly pan. It looks like the same 2 bolts that are holding the turbocharger to the frame. Those bolts are in place. The loose bolt looks like it has been inserted but can't find where. The bolt has a 13mm hex (10mm bolt size?). It wasn't there on the first service. Any...

    ice scrathers??

I didn't have much luck with them. They kicked up a lot of snow but it never made it to the track. The rails were dry. Then found one side was completely destroyed. Had them mounted on 6.9 Pilots.

    2018 Sidewinder first 330 miles

When I went out for the first time I was impressed with how it handled the bumps. As I got used to it and went around 40 to 50 MPH it didn't do as well. The rear actually bounces. But I only have 130 miles on it, I'm not giving up. I am comparing it to the APEX SE which has FOX air shocks...

    2018 Sidewinder first 330 miles

I have an Apex SE parked in the garage next to the 2018 STX-DX, just in case. Steering is heavier than the Apex, but not enough to change anything yet. I only have 130 miles on mine, but I installed Pilot 6.9's after 40 miles. Big improvement with handling, it didn't push at all. I'm sure it...
