I've been running HID's for the past 20,000 miles. Gone through about 5 sets over that time due to one issue or another. I ran across these "fanless" LED H4's and bought them. Very simple install, no wiring to run, no ballast's, just plug into the stock connectors. I only had to trim the...
Snowmobile.com has the dates and locations for the Skidoo Sneak Peak. Yamaha and Polaris has always been at the same snows:

Anyone seen this before? Fire in the silencer, this is CRAZY. Buddy rode Saturday in the U. P. 130 miles or so, got back to truck and saw the flames. Put it out with some snow. Headed to the dealer to see about warranty repair.
Here's the link to the dates from the Polaris Site. I assume Yamaha & Doo will be there with them like every other year:
http://www.polaris.com/en-us/snowmobiles/events
These are the Michigan dates:
Birch Run - March 16
Grand Rapids - March 21
I assume the same locations as last year but don't quote me on that.
Birch Run Expo Center
Birch Run, MI
Deltaplex Arena
Grand Rapids, MI
I read about this primary clutch spring some time ago in the SR Viper Talk section, lots of good information here:

Afterwards I decided to buy one and try it for myself. Let me tell you it works awesome! the...
Sled has a 144 studded down the middle. I'm seriously thinking about removing all the studs. I can't see any issues running a "holey" track but thinking I might be missing something. Any thoughts?
It's no wonder why I continue to buy and ride Yamaha Snowmobiles since 1979 - they stand by their products. I bought a 2013 Venture GT last month from an individual with only 1,300 miles; it was in excellent shape but no extended warranty. Bought it for a good price and brought it home...
After 9 seasons on my 2006 Attak, I'm looking at a low mileage 2012 RS VENTURE GT. 99% of my time is on trail riding 150-200 miles per day as well as overnight "saddlebag trips." Also, small amount of 2-up riding. I think I would like that moveable backrest but the big windshield will have to...
My son picked up a 2014 RTX SE Viper early this month with 400 miles.
My buddy is buying the same sled new tommorow, just a different color.
Question is about the hot grips-- do these really heat up well? Has Yamaha fixed the issues of the past with luke warm grips = cold hands?
No show in Novi this year, you have to drive all the way to Birch Run - doesn't make sense to me. A lot further drive for SE Michigan, Northern Ohio etc. Maybe this works for you, not me...
We are going on a 4-day adventure from Newberry to Big Bay (by way of Seney) - Big Bay to Lake Gogebic - LG to Iron River - IR to Christmas - Christmas back to Newberry. I want to be sure the hike to Big Bay isn't too much the first day.
If you only know the mileage to Marquette that would...
Had it running yesterday warmed up good and changed the oil then adjusted the track. Today went to load into the trailer and it won't start. When I crank it (lots of battery), the engine just pops intermittingly like popcorn. Any ideas? Fuel pump runs when I turn the key...
The skid was really messed up, broken, plus at least 4 other major cracks. Never saw or felt there was any problems until all the snow melted out of the skid in April. Holy crap! I can't believe I was riding it like this--just glad it never failed me especially at speed.
Got it back...
We put these on last fall and ran them all winter with no problems (2 sleds over 3,300 miles) :
http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo ... uare/1362/ (out of stock here now but there are lots of places to buy them--or see Superbrights and look for a little different style)
They don't look...
