4 stroke solutions got back to me within hours of emailing this same request....wow! I wasn't expecting a reply until after xmass.
In case anyone else comes looking for the same info: disconnect the leads from the switch and connect the Orange wire to the Blue wire with a jumper wire.

I've got a 4 stroke solutions rov/tether installed on an 08 Phazer that is killing power with the tether on. I'd like to bypass it until i can get a replacement switch...anyone have any tips on how to bypass. I've attached a pic of the switch. If i push laterally very lightly on the orange...
I did the same thing on an '06. Very tight at the front intercooler (about a 1/4" if I remember correctly). Very noticeable improvement in all conditions. I'm sure it would do even better with more clearance (drop and roll or extended chain case). I did nothing to the gearing or clutching...
Give it some thought! I'd be in. This would payout in 1/2 season for me by eliminating the race gas I blend (8psi super apex @ 6500ft).
I guess mods for the old iron isn't worth the development time.
I've fouled plugs before. Every time has been due to me shutting off the sled before it's had a chance to warm up, especially when outside temps are below -15c. If you let it warm up before shutting off, then no problem.
I have never pulled my plugs, never looked at them. 8000kms with...
So I got a run up the mtns with this set-up and no problems. I don't have a temperature gauge, I'll add one this spring, but it didn't seem to run any hotter. Other than on the trail up which was solid ice, scratchers did little until 4-5km up the trail where it softened up. I can live with...
Just wondering if anyone has run RX-1 mtn running board heat exchangers on an Apex mtn? I've been thinking about doing this for a while. I just had a heat exchanger crack right where the stock tunnel extension makes up to the tunnel. Seems like a good time to do this mod if I'm going to do...
I went 5" but had to re-route the throttle cable a bit and the housing did eventually split. No issue with the brake line, it's got plenty of extra length. This was on an '06 mtn.
Yup, just a vent. I ran a line into an "overflow bottle". I prefer the overflow bottle so I can see what has overflowed and how much. Some run it into chassi tubing by drilling small holes, if I remember right. Just make sure the vent line ends below your tank or you could loose charger oil...
Thanks guys, I think I had the belt tension right. I'll triple check as I install the next one. Ya, I didn't know the belt tension was adjustable on the small belt either, good to know.
I'm putting on about 1200kms a season so I guess I should change out the large belt every season. What...
I was trail riding with my kids so was just idling along but the throttle seemed soft and I looked down and no boost - my boost gauge does freeze up now and then. Also heard a whine. I stopped and popped the right side shroud and the belt was there and everything looked good. Turned the...
I just blew my first belt (the belt down by the oil tank connecting crank to charger). It went @ 1400kms. Just wondering if that is normal? How many kms are guys getting out of the this belt and the small inner belt?
Thanks,
Shawn
