its normal without the cold start kit. If your dealer says they won't do it try another dealer. When you get to the point that it is trying to fire and you let off the key just keep the key turned and keep it cranking and it will fire. My dealer put the cold start kit in mine for free and...
I have our 2007 phazer set up with Studboy Duece bars 4.5 inch carbides. Handles very well with no darting. Our sled is not studded. With studs might want to go with the 6 inch carbides
to test the fan the manual states to connect the fan to 12v source. Blue/Positive and Black/negative and fan should spin. You do realize that the fan only runs when coolant temp reaches a certain level. If you jump the fan to a 12v source and it works, I would start the sled and let it run to...
check out ontarioconditions.com There is a GPS forum on there. Ask for the area you plan to ride and there are forum members that have trails mapped out. You will love the riding in Ontario, we go every year.
I just got mine back from dealer after having the kit installed. I noticed right away how much quicker it started. Used to crank about 10 times and now starts after 2-3 cranks. starts and idles normally
Decided I am going to give deuce bars a try. I have read the posts on here but I can't decide which size to go with, the 4.5" or 6". This is on a unstudded '06 Attak for MN trail riding. What size would you go with???
My tips are a little loose so I will be doing this fix before the snow flies. Curious to why you guys are using a bolt to secure it in your fix instead of drilling out rivets and re-riveting.
My dealer just told me Yamaha cut production and cut his sled order and he won't be getting the blue ltx Gt I wanted to buy. Going to try to find one but might be riding the 06 Attak another year.
My experience at Haydays the last few years is that there is not much available for Yamaha 4 strokes and a lot of those that are available are not in the best of shape. Once you figure out what you want you are probably better off finding one from a private party. I was looking for a Phazer...
Sounds like you fouled the plugs. It is not hard to do on the 4 strokes if you start and stop them too often in the garage during off season. I'm betting if you put a new set in it will pop right off. I fouled the plugs on my Attak when it was new and I couldn't get enough of hearing the sound.
That is warning light. My guess is low fuel. When that light comes on it should be accompanied by a symbol such as engine symbol or gas tank symbol. Usually the low fuel warning will come on when you drop to 2 bars on the fuel gauge
I recently bought a 07GT and looked for quite a while to find a good low mileage at a good price. Paid $4100 for one with 600 miles on it. I would say in Minnesota yours would bring between 4000-4500
