when you put the reverse gear in there is a metal plate and spring with a long bolt that loads the gear make sure you blue locktite that bolt in or it will loosen and eat through the outer cover

there was no sign of any impact underneath they said it was coming out at the gasket

Yes there is a plate on the bottom of the motor it actually the sump

They tried to tell me it was oil that was leaked down but it happened while it was running and about a quart of oil on my garage floor after they got it back in the shop and looked at it some more they found it was leaking from the lower pan on the engine at the gasket I had never heard of it...

I just bought a 2011 apex se used from a local dealer and after getting it home and running it some it developed an oil leak they took it to the shop and found it was leaking from the bottom engine cover gasket has anyone else ever heard of this before

when installing pilot skis on an Apex do I have to reverse the center bushings on the skis I can't remember

had this problem on my 07 rtx stalling when coming to a stop low idle speed turns out the exhaust cam had skipped a tooth reset cam timing and its all better 22000 miles and still runs perfect

thinking about buying one how are they ? ive test riden one but dont know anyone who owns one that i can ride or get more info from are they reliable or do they have problems

sometimes these motors will skip a cam tooth happened on mine exhaust cam off 1 tooth stalled after coming to stop while ridding

i have 20,000 mi on my 07 rtx ive riden the vipers and allways come back to my Apex i put a sc 10 suspention in 3 years ago and now have an awsome ride if you dont need the power buy a vector same chassis

if you have the cover off check the cam timing mine skipped a tooth and was doing the same thing

i lube my left side bearings every year top and bottom i use a very small screwdriver and pry out the seal then repack and push the seal back in takes 2o min

should bolt right in rails are longer on attack
