Am I stupid or is there only one track option for the 141 (backcountry x)?? Was hoping to find an ice cobra to put on but have no luck finding anything but an X track besides mountain tracks

I’ll try the shocks and if I don’t like them next year I might do a 146 rmotion, ice age has 146”rails for rmotion

Whew just read thru that whole float skid thread. I think I’ll try and have the shocks valved first was hoping to do a rmotion swap at some point but don’t know about rail extensions on those. Never seen any before. Was an rmotion on Fb market today for 400 bucks…

Anyone swap out a xtx skid for something else? I’m seeing people do rmotion 137s but am wondering if anyone has done an xtx. Not coming up with anything on the search

Get all the “slop” out of the front end and make sure toe is 1/2 to 1/8 inch out. I preferred shaper bars for carbides when I had the old stock ski. A ski upgrade wouldn’t hurt. Even a set of tuners are nice if your not really riding super hard thru corners. Not my favorite ski. Rode tuners last...

Buy the mountaintech kit and sell your old arms. So much better. Definitely need oilite bushings unless you want to replace the junk plastic ones every weekend. Had a 2008 with stock arms and now a 13 with mountaintech arms and it’s way better

Stainless sleeve and oilite bushings would be the ticket

43 is great on trail. I’d do a 41 if I did it again tho. Would be a little easier to play in the ditches and deeper snow

1.6 ice cobra here too. One weekend on it and liked how it performed. Was 320 trail miles with lots of icy corners and like the grip in icy conditions

Ended up buying the rack from barn of parts... stainless Elbow from Amazon and should get me enough storage for my ride... can’t figure out how to put a strait picture up either....
