Curious re the air to air cooler ... looks like its pretty choked off in the video ....... positioning of it might be ok on trails but in powder it looks like its poorly positioned to get air flow ......

VK isn't cheap either considering that its basically the same sled they've been building for 20 years! It's a work horse but outclassed by other utility sleds - Tundra / Expedition / Voyageur .... now if they had put the phazer engine in it and swapped it across the line into the bearcat / lynx...

Cdn $ .... ouch! Picked up a 15 pro 800 holdover for list $ on the VK 540! Looks like a nice engine but it should be for the $$$$$$. Cdn site is very s l o w to load. Any weight drop for the mountain sled? Would like to try by for the $ doubtful if I'ld be in the market for a new one!

Well I guess the poo engine goes in the garbage with the nytro chassis that sucked, the nytro front end that was weak and need ball joints each season or more often, the nytro suspension, hyfaxs after each ride, the too small tank, worn exhaust gaskets, and so on. 3000 km each on two pro 600's...

Wow... imaging if you had to buy a car and spend money the same way on it to make it work properly .... nytro chassis was crap .... phazer was a step in the right direction and the Yamaha went backwards. Have just as many km on my pro as I did my nytro (loads more fun) and haven't had to spend...

They are pretty solid / cheap / warm. You will need to change to a plastic ski though - steel skis are horrible especially for kids. Skins are OK but best to doctor up a set of plastic one as they are lighter and much more forgiving. We had a few of these and swapped out the track for a 121"...

With a little work you can easily fit a pair of aftermarket plastic skis. The Kimpex ones work well and add loads of floatation - added them on two sports. The Kimpex ones are nice and light and plenty tough for a scoot / sport.

Gotta love the genius who though that it would be a great idea to use three different types of fasteners on the side panels of the phazers!!!

Good option - we used these the same way - added a 121 x 1.25" ripsaw + plastic skis which made a big difference.

the phazer cables are all the same length ... need one a couple of inches longer .... will measure it and see if I can compare to Nytro / Apex / Vector / Viper. Any snow left on the west side ... was over for New Years and didn't bother to bring the sleds ....
