Don't forget to put fuel stabilizer in....I've been using Fuel Med RX sold at Yamaha dealers with good luck...and I fill the tank to the top. Also, Seafoam is good stuff, as well as Startron.

2011 Apex standard couple weeks ago, saw 113 speedo, and 110 GPS. It wasn't clamped for too long, kinda had to let off, was on a long hardpacked strightaway trail and had a hill coming up quickly! This thing is plenty fast for me...

I would think Boss would sell a pile of them. Although pricier, I would rather buy a whole seat so I can go back to stock and sell the Boss if I wanted to. The WRP is a kit using your original seat pan.

I looked on the Boss website and all they have listed for Yammy is a seat for the older viper chassis...

They didn't have any Apex's to ride yesterday at the Colebrook N.H. snodeo. I did try a 2016 137" Viper LE, (SWEET machine!), and a 137" turbo Viper.

Is that single shot a Cat suspension? Because the Cats have 129" instead of 128's...

I wouldn't call it bashing either, he posted the thread in the Apex forum, so biased opinions are to be expected. I tried the Vipers at a demo ride when they first came out...loved the looks, ride and seating position is great. I tried the Apex last, seemed sooo much smoother and easy to handle...

How hard of a job is it to get the caliper off?
