I have a dalton clutch kit 53/42 helix with red springs. I race 660ft (snow) and is wanting to know what helix setting should I be using? 70 or 110 ( no studs- 1.5 track)
What would be the better kit to put on my 06 Apex GT? The 128" or the 136" for 660ft snow racing? What would be the better for accelleration and traction?
I adjusted my idler rpm higher for engaement for racing. I noticed I lost 500rpm. Is it because of changing the idle rmp to high or may it be another issue? What is the stock idle rpm suppose to be and how many turns on the nob would that be?
I'm missing both of my spring retainers off my front shocks. I have a 06 Apex gt. I can't find any Part # listed with Yamaha. Anyone know where I can get these and what size do I need. Will any other model work?
I was wondering if anyone is using the Gmax44s helmet with the the sun shield. Does the sun shield flip up on the out or the inside of the shield? Like some input before I buy one
I found the problem.. the fuel pump is gone. It comes on but wont pump any gas.. Thanks everyone for the help trying to get this sled running. I really appreciate it. Anyone know where I can find a good used fuel pump??
I hooked the pump up directly, but the sled wont start. I had to put a bit of gas in each carb in order for it to start and will only run on the gas I put in the carbs. The sled wont pick up the gas at all from the fuel pump??
I tested the fire from the relay to the pump. Yes there is fire but not enough to run the pump. I made a new ground wire from the battery ground and hooked it to the pump and still no change. I checked the wire harness for any broken wires or melting and everything looked O.K. So will this rule...
I tried switching them and no difference. Just notices the headlights are not coming on when I tried to start the sled...That means the headlight relay is gone to?
Took the line off to the injectors... No fuel...Guess I'll try to get new relays and try that since the pump works when I hook it up directly to battery... (3 hrs from the nearest Yamaha shop) Any more suggestions?
I tried what you said.. still the same. I can hear a faint sound of fuel going through the line. Does that mean its working? I'm going to try the replace the plugs tomorrow in case they are fouled...
