Sled Freak,
I was looking for numbers not translations from Dream-0-meter to radar.
Grader's Quote
"it bloody well better. my stretched 05 rx (136) did 116 on radar and my buds shorty did 119. but then ive been told mine is exceptional so that helps. stock apexes run 120-123 so adding...
Bro, I'm as pumped as the next guy about a bit of snow on the ground but I'm the last guy you'll ever see being the first guy to hit the trail with 2" of shitty snow on it. I'm excited too but it's still early.
Still fella's, no real results. There was lots of "felt real good" and "would...
I've been reading my butt off on here about all the info on the Yamachargers but I haven't seen much about peoples sucsess. I have just recently bought one and am in the middle of putting it on.
Does anyone want to tell any acutal numbers MPH that they've seen with a yamacharger or even...
Yamaha has addressed the concerns of 90% of the people with this sled. Everyone cries about darting and steering.... so they fixed their issues. Everyone on this site cries about how bad the stock ski's were.... so they changed it. Everyone on here cries about cold hands and everyone has some...
Hey Dan.....Show me where I said that a 20 shortens the life of your motor???? Pretty sure I was talking about the 0w0 or in the oil industry a 0??? You should probably read before you start to comment because I said MOST 20w50 NOT ALL 20w50's. Also I'd really like to see all the 20w50 with a...
Exactly what I was asking about. True overdrive. I don't see how making an adjustment in the secondary would effect the belt traveling further up the primary. So any thoughts? Thanks Bountyhunter
Any thoughts on overdrive clutches? I had to sell my sled with my Ulmers clutching on it and I have to start over on a '10. A buddy cuts his clutch as soon as he gets his new one.. he swears by it. I'm tempted but once it's cut it's cut.
1800 ppm is very good. More zinc then in most 20w50 racing oils. Nascars run a 0w0 for qualifing due to very little resistance. Just like why the OEM car industry has gone to 5w20. It works great on the dyno for fuel milage.
If your a drag racer and 1 horsepower or 2 is worth shortening the...
Re: Cobrahead Carbides?
This is my second year on the Cobraheads. There's ZERO darting but not the most aggressive in the corners. A little bit of pushing. Unless you're a real aggressive rider they're mint.
Really eh? I thought they would be way too tall. With that much extra leverage wouldn't that put a lot of extra stress on the track, maybe some pull throughs or bent studs?
With you guys running the .1450 studs do you double up the tunnel protectors or do anything extra so you don't smash up your exhaust? I know my exhaust and the plate in front of it had a few scuffs in it and I only had 96 .1325's for last season. I want to run a taller stud but didn't want worse...
How many miles till you change them? At the end of the day it's only $50, so if I would be walking a fine line I'd rather do them in my heated garage then on the side of the trail at -20. What do you think milage wise you should get out of a rack of plugs? 10,000 km? 20,000 km?
