Give Allen a call and ask him! i did back in 08 for my RTX and it ripped. 116 mph on gps never lost to another NA apex in the 6 years i had it. He knows what he's doing thats for sure!
If you buy RTX check the suspension the rear skid cracks big time and limiter straps break like crazy! Had mine welded 4 or 5 times on my 07 RTX. Other then that it was a great sled.
Just ride the sled in snow.....Problem fixed. ;)!
I added 6 extra small wheels with the graphite sliders(Yamaha one's) and I ride some pretty crappy trails and have had no problems. 1 have gone through 1 set per year and there is usually some slider left on them but I change them anyway...
Had the same problem puddle of oil under the sled on that side.It ended up being the oil tank.I could not find the crack. The tank and the hose are the only thing down that side.
Had mine out the other day and sure enough when it gets up to temp it starts to idle low then stall.I also have a after market temp gauge and it's not getting hot when it does stall. And not all the time just every so often.
Sure would like to know what the problem is. :o|
Anyone ever figure out where the fuel filter is???
I have the same problem with my 07 RTX for some reason I think when I changed my plugs the low idle went back to normal. And yes mine only does it when it's hot.Not sure if it still does it anymore no ride time this year so far no god damm...
So I buy a new belt for my 07 RTX (8DN-17641-01) And I decided to measure some of my other worn out belts even the 00 original belt.
Well the new belt I just bought was 17 thou thinner then my worst worn out belt.
I could not believe it I must have measured it 50 times. Can this be right...
My other track that I use is a 1 3/8 x 121x15 Cat track with no studs. It works really well in the deep stuff and at the start of the year when the snow is fresh. The only problem is it will only pull about 104-105 mph on GPS but it sure get there damm fast.
You can't believe what? Mph? When anyone pulls up beside you on a lake or river and you both hit it and the guy pulls away from you does it bother you then? How about when you go down the straight away in your stock car and the guy beside you puts 3 cars on you before the first turn? That's...
My Warranty is up soon and I have a spot on the left hand side at the bottom edge of my seat where the material has come off.
Has anyone got warranty on a seat before?
Looks like the material is peeling off. :o|
I have both tracks 1.25 Rip & 1 inch Hack.I have 144 1.375 studs up the middle in the Ripsaw. My best mph with the Ripsaw with 22/38 gearing is 113 mph on GPS. I also had the same mph with or without the studs in 1.25 Ripsaw.
The best mph with the 1 inch Hacksaw and 144 1.175 up the middle is...
Well after 400 miles the gauge has stopped working again. It's the sensor again.I would have to say stay away from these narrow band "koso" air fuel ratios gauges as they just don't last.
Time for a wide band anyway...What a waste of money this gauge was #$%&*
Now watch i'll put it all back together and one of the other 3 will crack in half and i'll have to do it all over again.I'll I can say is if one more flex pipe cracks they will be getting the other 3 back so I can put the updated number on all 4 .They should be doing it in the first place.
Had one of my Flex pipes crack in half on the weekend.Got a new one today and it has a updated part number.Looks like the flex part is made of another type of metal.
I called today and one y pipe(or flex pipe) was $138.00 and there is a updated part number for the flex pipe.Has anyone put the new one on?
New part#8fu-14615-01-00 Warranty does cover the flex pipe.
Same thing happen to me.Changed all the donuts at 2400 miles pipes were good donuts were toast. So now I have 400 miles since the new donuts were put on and now the flex pipe closest to the chain case cracked and the donut is not bad.Wonder if this will be coverd under warranty?
Side note,when...
