    4-stroke summer storage

Most of you guys are going a bit overkill with the summerizing in my opinion. Do you lift your corvette off the ground before winter so there is no sag in the springs, or take the leather off the seats to eliminate any chance of cracking. Some of this stuff makes perfect sense like changing the...

    summer-izing my nytro...

Starting the engine from time to time doesn't hurt plus it makes ya yurn for the ride making it all that much better when you get to go. The cylinder wall should be fine. I had a firefly that I didn't start for 6 years and with a new battery and fresh gas she fired up almost right away. both...

    summer-izing my nytro...

Doesn't matter to me what everyone does, but the things people do for the "summerizing". to me is redonkulas. Summer is not a harsh season in any way. What is the difference of loosening the track off in the summer or not. The heat created by the summer conditions will not stretch the track at...

    summer-izing my nytro...

Is everyone nuts. This is no 2 stroke. And even then. You don't winterize a corvette for the winter by taking the load off the suspension, pitting oil in the cylinders, taking off all the belts abd laying them on their sides. It is a snowmobile. All I have ever done is cover it up. Give it a...

    Back to the dealer.................AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

My dealer had my subframe changed at no cost to me. Aswell as ball joints (only a certain VIN # get them though) and got the deflection plate under the clutch included. All warrantee. Didn't have to even yell. Great dealer and long time relations go far. But still waiting on handwarmer issue.

    Adjusting this Damn track

oh sorry to forget... after you adjust the track ..if you want to check if it perfectly straight.. just measure from the front of the rear axil to any hole along the track assembly with a measuring tape. if they are equal measurements on both the left and right side then it is straight.. if not...

    Adjusting this Damn track

it's 22 lbs or 10 kg's of force... a trip to the local fishing supply outlet and purchase a 25 lbs digital scale is all it takes. Thats what I did. I also went 1 step further and cut and welded a weight that will sit on my track with the rear suspended. It can be quite difficult to measure 22...

I think something is wrong with My skis!

I think the main problem is the automatic ski air pressure, or as yammy calls it the ASAP. Seems to be a common problem seeing as how I was told that Yamaha is working to solve problems ASAP. By the way were airbags an option or not.?

    A-Arms/Spindles

I disagree with reinforcing the front end. It, to me, is like taking out the colapse points on a car. They are intentional weaknesses put there from the engineers. You risk furthuring the damage caused by an impact not only on the sled but to yourself as well. A little money to fix some...

    handwarmers

A fix will come.. however might not be until the season is over.. But everyone complaining about the 10K they paid in the states shouldn't feel so bad.. that same sled in canada is 13K with an equal dollar...hmmmmm doesn't seem right.

    Plastic panel clips

The inserts I am referring to are not a Yamaha Part. Like I said.. you can pick them up at most fastener locations... I will take some pics of wat they look like and post them tommorrow.

    Plastic panel clips

You can pick up the inserts at any local acklands or greggs distributing. I would imagine that most nut and bolt places also carry them... I get them at my work and they sure work well....Also the brass inserts are better than the aluminum ( aluminum will eventually corrode with any steel...

    Plastic panel clips

you could replace those clip with an insert. (like the ones that come with the ultra plate) and then you have a screw to undo insted. I did that for the all of mine. only the ones I knew I would be constantly be removing. like the belly pan for oil changes and such.. just an idea but they work...
