Never tried the Curves on the Nytro, wanted to try something different. I can't compare apples to apples, but, the Curves on my Apex are not as aggresive as the C&A razors on my Nytro. I think the Curves are an excellent ski and very well made, just not sure they were what I was looking for on...
I do have a cut off tool, . The problem I see with that is you are going to generate heat doing it that way. Heat will weaken metal, and the last place I want to do that is at the ball joints. It's a great idea to do it myself, I just don't have that kind of patienceto go slowly and accuratly...
Can anyone recomend a reputable shop to do the machining on a 08 nytro upper ball joints? I have contacted an advertiser here on TY, but they never got back to me. Just want to get this done before the snow really fly's. Would love to hear feedback also, is it really worth it?
That's what I was afraid of. Does 1400 miles seem early? At our shop it is not uncommon to see around 3000 miles on the Arctic Cat ACT's. Just curious.
I think I have a problem with my Ohlins EC shock. When I depress the rear suspension there is barely any compression or rebound at all. Very little resistance on the way down and only about 1" of rebound if that. I know this is the electronic shock, but I don't believe the sled needs to be...
I raced my buddies F7 last weekend. It beat me on my Apex about a month ago. I was able to beat him on the Nytro and the Apex this weekend. It was all about hooking up. I finally got the Apex suspension where I wanted it. He is ported, polished,Wiscoe, and V-Force three. It was nice. I was...
I was wrong, it is April 11 th. I may be foolish, but the only sleds I am really worried about are other Nytro's. It seems almost unfair to put the Nytro in the 600 class, but oh well.
I have the Apex Ltx Gt, And I love it. I'm not sure the suspesion upgrade is worth $1500.00 though. I still bottom it out set at the stiffest at the bars. If I did it over again I would buy the big boy spring for the standard suspension. Just my 2 cents. I will probably be wrong.
Local ski hill will be having uphill drags in a week. My Nytro is all stock, . I need the best setup to be competetive. I hope someone can help me with suspension setup to get the power to the ground. I go about 225 geared up. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.
Second that. 97 is the best I've seen on ice with a little snow on top for lube. Only about 500 miles on it though. My buddies XTX does 105 on the dreameter. Would of thought a long track would lose top end.
Not bashing, but where we ride loud pipes do close trails. It is unfortunate that thr R-1 can run any exhaust they want on the street, but we lose trails on our snowmobile. That being said, for me I don't want to hear anymore from my Apex. My Nytro is a different story though,I would love to put...
If they foul, throw them away. It is a short term fix to clean them. They will foul again, and usually when you are 50 miles from home. I know they aren't cheap, but it sure beats being stuck somewhere. I let my apex warm up until the warning light goes off and then I give it a couple more...
