The seat looks good ,but it is heavy to start with then add more foam .... I'm surprised they did not start with a hollow core sear with storage space in it to lighten it up from the start.
I did it to my 04 warrior , only problem I dont like is the seat is heavier than hell now . This would be a perfect spot to lose some unneeded weight .
Does the tie rod get bolted to the top or bottom of the steering arm (out on ski side )? I seem to be getting contact with the botom upper A arm bolt when bolted where I thought it went (botom)
I am not sure who else has a wide front end kit, but if you do use caution as mine just failed. I was riding with my wife and noticed some horrible handling and looked down after taking a corner and found that part of the lower left hand shock mount had bronken off. I called up Pioneer...
I finished my 4" re-stuff and the handlebar risers. The only thing I don't like about it is the weight of that seat! There is a hell of a lot of useless weight there. Whether that justifies the expense of some of the aftermarket seats that are considerably lighter and have storage in them I cant...
Just took mine apart and noticed those stapes are short! and It's hard to believe the seat cover is going to fit back on with the added 4 " foam padding. Also cant believe how much that seat weighs (of course mine does seem to have some moisture in it) When you guys got up to the fuel tank how...
The end of last season I added the rear cross over cooler, beginning of this season I noticed my studs were ripping through it's fins, so the other day I fabbed up some protection rails (which I would like to cover with a layer of hyfax type plastic if I can find some, to reduce the friction...
I just road my buddies new '06 and the seating position is really nice compared to the sunk in the lazy-boy feeling of my '04 warrior . If there is a seat replacement and handle bar risers that give a similar riding position?
I'm really getting tired of my temp idiot light, and would like to add a temperature gauge. This way I can see when temps start to climb. Does anyone make a add on temp gauge that would fit well in the dash of '04 Warrior?
Got the Wide front end kit put on , (wish I knew in advance a set of deep , thin walled shockets were needed for install) anyone find caps to seal up the ends of the arms to prevent snow and ice acumulation?
I also have a Black '04 Warrior with Yellow lighting decals, anyone know if there is a place that sells realistic flame decals ( or same simialr size and shape to original yellow ones) to replace yellow ? Not real fond of the cheezey yellow lighting, but a realistic red/yellow blue flame combo...
