This is what I was thinking about using. You can fire the injectors off your coils unless I read it wrong. If you want to use the ignition side of this you can add a crank trigger and control that as well.

I purchased a good used simons cpr turbo and I am wondering what it is. There is no tag on it, I was told that is what simons did so no one would know what turbo it was. I need a new center section as a piece of my valve guide decided to go through the turbo..
The turbin a/r is .64 and the...
Well here goes!
Hopefully these will download ok.. I remember some time ago that someone asked if you ccould raise the tunnel to still accomodate the stock or aftermarket exhaust and have a flat surface for the rev tank to sit on, that is what I have done.
Kinger, just bring it up...
I jsut cut the top off of a rev tank and wleded my yamaha filler neck on it so it fits under the stock RX tank shroud. I also cut the sending unit out of the RX tank and welded the plastic bug to the rev tank as well. That way the sender mounts to the tank same as factory did.
I was...

Thanks, The problem is I already have the 144 and do not want to go any longer so I would need whole new rails or get some 121" rails and add the extension.
I removed and cleaned the primary. I also removed about 1 gram from the tip weight. Everything seems tight and the spring looks ok and engagement seems right. What should I see for engagement rpms?
Also keep in mind that I have the stock shorty spring in the secondary and I have geared it...
Turk,
I did some runs to verify I had my carbs diald in properly and now I am confident I do.
As fas as the RPMs are concerned I am seeing about 9100 to 9200 consistently and then it will climb to about 10000 ant that is where I top out on MPH. I know you have said before that I should be...
I 200 miles yesterday which was about the first time I have had anyreal good seat time on my sled in a while. The concern I have is that my slled just doesnt seem to have the top end it should. I suspect I have a clutching issue, but I am not a clutcching expert by a lonng shot!
The...
This has happened a couple of times now but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
When I went to turn it over it turned over maybe once and just stops. I then turned the clutch with my hands it acted like it was hydro locked and then it turned free. After it was...
Well I am making more progress!! Decided to stick with the original plan and not do the Apex seat! I want to see the exhaust better. Just have a few more things and then it goes to get covered..
Well I did it! Moved the steering post! Used the stock post and relocated the stop. Turned outgood I think.. Also put on a 4" pivot riser and a set of RSI bars, ends, warmers and grips. Cant wait to try it!!
I am not sure what to do with the seat yet. I picked up a Apex seat for 95...
How much farther do you want to go? AD has a chart for set back of the skid in order to run a longer track. Once you do the set back you can then add an extension if needed.. I may have the chart on it?? I can check.. I also have some extensions but I may want to lengthen my 144 as well.
Been gathering some parts to do a seat mod to my 03. Here is what I have come up with so far. It is a combination of my original seat pan and a new FX Nytro seat pan.. I still have to fab up a sub frame for the seat but that will be pretty easy.
The only other thing I am trying to...
It is pretty easy. Just remove the mounting bolts and the shaft will slide right out..
Before you start pulling though, make sure you pay attension to which bushings go where. There are many spacers and bushings on that shaft.
I have a blue print (exploded view) if you have trouble...
