    Relocated the fuse box

Interesting, I just took it OUT of my tunnel bag! I can't say I've really heard do's and don'ts regarding spare belt handling???

    Relocated the fuse box

Yes, I tried the hood on before I posted. Good question!

    Relocated the fuse box

What do you guys think about putting your spare belt here? I moved the fuse panel (brilliant idea) and that opened up a space for my spare belt? I added an electrical wire keeper under the airbox screw and ran a black zip tie through it and around the belt to keep it there. The white zip tie...

    Relocated the fuse box

I'm going to move mine. It looks like a very simple project, and one that I'll be thankful I did should I need to access it. As soon as someone posts a photo of a mangled wiring harness I MAY consider spending more than the $.00 it costs to do this mod. (the rivets are in my cabinet already :))

    New 509 delta R3 helmet

Not sure why you wouldn't have the clips here's a pic. I also put a small zip tie on the cord to keep it from sliding through the clip. There's nothing special about these clips. Most auto parts stores should have them.

    New 509 delta R3 helmet

I get what you mean now by "falling" I thought that was a typo for "failing". I never use googles so I haven't put the covers on? Are they warping because you're pulling on the bolted on side pieces and they bend when removing the covers? Are the covers too tight when installed? The adhesive...

    New 509 delta R3 helmet

Yes, John is who called me. Their ticket system is giving them issues and it's been a real challenge for John. As you can see it took a while for him to get back to me. My son also has an R3 and John called him last week and has things rolling. Ok, as far as your issues, THE NUMBER ONE fix...

    New 509 delta R3 helmet

509 did get back to me today. They called me personally and apologized for the delay more than once. I want to give credit for the sincerity of the call. Honestly I think this helmet will be a pleasure to own once the "updates" are installed. I have incorporated my own versions of 509's...

    New 509 delta R3 helmet

I feel it's time to express my feelings on the Delta R3. Disappointed. Disappointed in the R3, and Disappointed in 509's lack of communication. I submitted a warranty claim back on January 25th, after no response via email other than an automated "we got your request", I called 509 on February...

    Side panel vent question

But what I'm wondering is if your 2014 is a ZR (129") or an XF (137")? My sons 14 ZR did not have the deflector, my 14 XF does. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Side panel vent question

Wow, I'm not having any problems with belts or blowing them. (3800 mi) when mine let go. I was just wondering if any changes were made from the factory as far as vent design and/or appendages that were being installed or deleted. Out of curiosity why did you feel you needed to provide that...

    Side panel vent question

That's what it looked like to me too, but I wondered if removing the lower "deflector" and opening that side vent would actually allow hot air out. My son's 2014 ZR7000 did not have that lower plastic piece installed from the factory?????

    Side panel vent question

Yeah, I'm just looking at the first step. Just wondering about the side panel itself. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Side panel vent question

You guys are the 1049 experts, the Cat guys aren't. This is the inside of the clutch side panel on my 2014 XF7000 Ltd. Should I do anything different with these pieces or leave it as is to get better clutch cooling??? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    509 delta 3 helmet review

I believe this is what 509 is recommending we do to protect the wires on the face shield. Clear RTV silicone. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
