a few years back when freddie and myself dynoed 3 diff types of plugs
the eks always were 2-3 hp higher than any other plugs including the iridium
its important to remember that its not just the dual ground that promotes a better flame front for more power but the colder heat range which also...
if it clicks just once when the key is turned its an open in the field of the starter ,the dreaded "bad spot" on the starter-the starter will need to be rebuilt or replaced
if it clicks rapidly when the key is turned its a low voltage problem{loose connection,poor ground,bad battery etc}
there is an oil pressure sensor that will kill the engine if there is no oil pressure {ck ecm for a code 30 i think}
there is a level sensor in the dipstick that will illuminate a warning lite but will not kill the engine
they are not hollow-i cut them off of 5 different sleds
they are there to hold the engine upright when on a bench
at least trim them down 1/2 way so an impact dosent snap them off
i took the one off my old rx1 and put it on my apex-took about 45 minutes and no blood!
you should also consider cutting off the casting legs on the oil pan-ive done that on all the rx chassis sleds

my 06 didnt have them but my 07 does from the factory
and i just had my secondary waranteed because it was warped and the new secondary came with the plates too :Rockon:
any tool will work-try to get the one that works from the outside of the track -its alot easier
the clips are 1 inch-so get the tool that will do those
i have a universal tool that will do all diff widths of clips-i think i paid 65$ a few years ago for it
the "liteweight" clips with holes arent any better-they do hold a little ice but also hold dirt-the bend easier which means they can come off the track easier-the ribbed ones have the least friction and contact on the the hyfax and are the best for top speed
just got a carlisle/dayco whatever brand it is
it the new xs series and a big difference in flexibility-it feels like a wet noodle in my hands and the yammie belt feels like a stiff....
brand new from dealer-i watch them put it together
clutches even have correct date stamp on them and other markings that are correct for it
i guess even the japs can goof up on an assembly line :Rockon:
