04 rx-1 wiring problem

I bought an 04 RX-1 in a million pieces. Putting back together. I found a black wire cut coming out of fuse block about 4 in long. When I touched the frame, it blows the main 30 amp fuse next to battery. Where does it go? It looks like it was cut. Can anyone help me?

Could someone have added this wire from the fuse block for a helmet heater shield? I looked at a used RX-1 and the fuse block did not have a black wire out of it. Should I just tape it off or use it for the helmet shield?

Use it for a helmet heater shield but install an inline fuse for it. Does it have any power when the engine is off if not then it would be perfect for a shield as long as you install a fuse.

no power when not running. but what should it be for. worked on yamahas my hole life. black wire comes out fo fuse holder .sled runs great on lift. thanks

Previous owner may have added it for something and just cut it to take it off prior to selling it. Install an inline fuse and use it for your helmet shield or power point. If everything is working great I would not worry about it bud.
