I replaced my hyfax and rode about 150 miles and now it looks like I lost all of my track clips. I have around 4800 miles on stock track. At the end of my ride today I noticed a vibration under hard acceleration. That's when I noticed all the clips were missing? Is their something wrong that i should be looking for? The clips were showing some where and I was thinking I would have to replace after the season but now it seems I will be doing it sooner! can anyone recommend a good track for my sled? I was think about a Camoplast Ice Ripper XT, Any thoughts? I am currently not running any studs and would like the added traction and safety of the studs in the Ice Ripper. it seems to be a less expensive alternative to a standard track and adding studs? Can anyone tell me about the differences besides the obvious in why some tracks are fully clipped and some are every third window? What are the pluses and minuses between them? Thanks for any help and opinions anyone can offer!

probably wore through the clips. just re-clip it and finish the season if it is not coming apart.

i went ice ripper when i replace mine and it was open all windows already (thanks chadg). i just clipped the rest of it and put a set of extroverts on it so i could run the track looser. one thing, you might need more carbide as i am running 4" on my curve skis and it was pushing today in the corners a bit. carbides are on 3rd season but looked in really good shape when i did my pre-season check.
