Hey, i have a 2005 Yamaha rx1 er, anyways my exhaust gaskets are bad. i was wondering since it the titanium stock header/ exhaust, i was thinking of replacing it was a stainless steel hi flow header and dual r1 pipes?? would this be a good idea? would it solve this ongoing issue with the titanium exhaust on the 05's? thanks, any info would be appreciated.

Titanium or stainless the stock Yamaha gaskets will wear out. Lots of talk on the site about new copper replacement gaskets. Don't know how they work with the titanium pipes. If your titanium pipes are worn out or cracked definitely replace with stainless steel ones, and place the new copper donuts.

I went with stainless on the 05, the titanium didnt last very long for me before they started cracking. In case you dont know the 03 and 04 rx all have stainless and the Apex ones wont fit(different lenghts)
