I took my warrior for a 110 mile ride on last weekend. It ran great for the first 90 miles. I stopped for gas and 15 miles later it had a noticable drop in power. I poured in startron when I got home and it started running fine within 10 minutes. Maybe water in the gas? Since I am going to the UP in one week and I am paranoid, I cleaned the carbs and checked the Plugs. The plugs were a little white but they all looked the same (cr9). I then found it to have three exhaust donuts that were completely missing (ordered copper ones). Is there any thing else I should do before I take it on my trip? Any advice would be greatly apprieciated.

I got the new donuts in tonight. I went for a 10 mile run and no problems. I still have a little spuder at 6000 rpm. maybe the carbs need synked. Other then that I think I am ready to go to michigan.

Glad to hear it is running better. Western UP is your best bet at this point for decent snow.thobkirk said:I got the new donuts in tonight. I went for a 10 mile run and no problems. We are heading to Houghton. Anything is better then what we have here. I guess we got spoiled the last 3 years.

What's the easiest way to check the exhaust donuts on Rx1's? I keep seeing posts about them going bad and I think I should probably check mine out.

I did the rag test. Start up the sled and before it is completely warmed up hold two wet rags in the tailpipes. It should stall or almost stall. I could hear the leak on mine when I did this. I ordered copper donuts from sledtoyz.
