I have a 2006 apex, mice got into it and made a nest under the seat, chewed through fuel pump wire. I replaced the wire and can not hear the pump. I then updated the relay and still nothing! Could the pump have been cooked when the wires were chewed through? Thank you for any advice!

Check with a voltmeter or test for power and ground at the fuel pump and power at the relay and fuse.

Also be sure to check the white connector on the starter relay for corrosion as I've seen many times that connector full of corrosion cause not enough power to get to the fuel pump to allow it to run. The power that goes to the fuel pump first travels through the fuse on the top of the starter relay and then to the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump. When corrosion is present in the white connector on the starter relay you will still see voltage at the fuel pump with a volt meter or test light but the corrosion doesn't allow enough flow of power to turn the pump but it will have enough flow to light a test light or show voltage on a volt meter - corrosion at that connector can cause plenty of confusion when trying to diagnose.

I'm working on the sled now, I am getting 12.6v to the fuel pump relay, but nothing out. I have tried swapping relays ( which I have a couple that are new and used) but still nothing out. It doesn't make sense that I can see nothing out

Btw I am checking voltage out but at the clip in the harness before it goes under the seat, and directly at the relay using an old style relay with the plastic surround removed from it

I figured out the problem! I had ordered a new starter relay because the old one had a lot of corrosion. The problem was that the new relay with fuse posts was actually fused in the opposite direction. When the white plug was plugged in it was only being powered when the starter was engaged. Needless to say I did not have the right starter relay for the sled. I re bent the brass leads to work for now, but will order a new one as a permanent fix.

Sound like you got a Vector relay. Have seen this before. I reused the that brass lead from the old relay into the new relay.

Sadly the brass lead on mine was toast and I tossed the old part before the new one got here. Had I saved it and inspected them side by side I would have realized and avoided this mess!
