Snow rainbow on the way to ride near Colorado border. Once we got up the mountain it was a total whiteout. Couldn't see more than 100 feet ahead, almost got lost close to the parking area a few times and decided to call it a day. One of the guys I ride with just got a sidewinder mtx. It's a mean scooter.

After riding a few times I realized i had a bent handlebar and it was very hard to steer. I ordered some new bars and tore the front suspension down. LCA, spindle and both spindle bolts were bent, I replaced all the suspension
That was damaged but it was still very hard to steer. I tore the steering apart next, everything was in good shape. I replaced the steering blocks and bushings with OFT billet & olite bushings, i also added a pivot adaptor and riser, new grips and heaters from RSI to go with the new bars

So this summer i decided i want to change a few things and it got out of hand( wife says it's a sickness can leave anything stock). So i built an undertunnel exhaust with an old yoshimura muffler i had from an R1. Found a nice used timbersled skid with floats and added billet wheels and a 2 wheel conversion. Also got rid of that terrible maverick track for a 2.5. I installed some longer 16.5 shocks which i do like but even maxed out they are very soft. I got rid of the stock lazyboy seat and installed a boss seat from a skidoo. Changed the risers again, and the lake effect are much nicer than the powermadd. Swapped out the stock skis for some slp powder pros. The only thing I'm lacking is the hand warmers don't work with the new rsi warmers. RSI said they need a minimum of 8volts and im getting 5.5 @ idle , 6.9 @ 6k rpm. Has any one used the yamaheaters? It seems overpriced to me for a few wires and a relay

Yamaheaters fixes the low voltage issue.
