any suggestions or recommendations to replace the once "replaced" throttle and thumb warmer. Not sure why the original is off this unit I purchased, but the replacement is super lose. Thx

Get a take off from a parts sled. Put an ad in the wanted section.

are you sure it is not how it is supposed to be? Yamaha's have a TORS system the requires throttle free play and the pivot point is oblong with a micro switch in the pivot. it should not feel sloppy but it may seem loose if you don't know how it is supposed to work? just making sure your not wasting money on something.

A picture might better explain it... it's very sloppy, but does work. Thanks for the support

That looks like a North Coast Innovations throttle. I had one on my sled. They were adjustable so you could adjust it to where it was comfortable for your style of riding. Whats loose on it?

also called a thumb drive it is meant to reduce fatigue on the thumb as you can use the palm of your hand to push it. I think you cant get them any more if you can get it to tighten up I bet people would be interested in it maybe even swap for a stock one.
