07 Apex no start

i have an 07 apex that all of a sudden will crank but not fire, fuel pump is working and injectors are clicking when checked, just checked diagnostic codes and found while cranking code, ER-01 comes up, No ECU connection? Is this commen?

No, this is not common. Something has gottn disconnected. Did you recently do any work on it (e.g. like change the oil?) Check the ECU connection. Check the gage connection. Check the handle bar connections.Did you unplug any other connection?

Did you check all the fuses?

what does ECU stand for?

Electronic Control Unit. It is the metal component typically located under the battery, or up in the nose of the sled, with all the wires plugged into it.

An ECU is similar to CDI. But an ECU is much more complex than typically what a CDI unit handles. Everything that is electric is affected by the ECU. CDIs focus on ignition.

Hey thanks, checked everything i could. Found nothing. Took my ECU and plugged into another 07 Apex and it did the same thing. Cranked but no go, must be the ECU, Crappy cause it's kinda rare to happen.
