Nice sled, very impressed with fit and finish. As a new Attack owner I am curious if they changed the clutch setup from 06, initial observations show the White secondary spring--which I guess got alot of attention as a simple alternative to improve clutching vrs aftermarket kits.
The primary spring is yellow- silver- yellow.
I plan on cxing helix angle this weekend.
Lastly-- is the new skid Ohlin shock spring beefier than the one used for last years apex GT ?
Skis appear unchanged--- weakest part of the package !
New bars are nice with full heat but diameter feels too narrow for my liking.

Interesting! I forgot about the white spring discussions last year also. My 07 standard Attak also has white secondary and Y-S-Y primary. On a related note, while doing my track swap I found that the gears are 38/23.

I too am very curious if any of that is a different stock setup from those of you who bought 06 Attaks...

I do believe the 06 Attaks all came with white secondary spring stock...all that chatter from people who were switching to the white spring were on short track Apex's, and they were switching to Attak springs/gearing seeking better performance. But someone more knowledgeable here can please correct me if I'm wrong on that interpretation.

My guess is that we have the exact same springs/gears as the 06's.

Congrats on the sled! My skis are already gone, BTW....Slydog Powderhounds bolted in their place. Assuming I like them, watch for a pair of brand new take-off Yamaha skis on Ebay this winter...not planning on wasting any precious riding time with those shoes!
