So I switched out my exhaust on my attak to a hauk exhaust so now under the tunnel there is a big open hole where the factory muffler used to sit. This past weekend that hole and all around my exhaust got packed full of snow and ice to the point it wrecked my 02 sensor I installed. Also my trunk doesn't get warm anymore. Has anyone ever taken a piece of aluminum and covered that open void that is now there ? It shouldn't hurt anything I don't think. Should just stop the snow and ice build up around the exhaust and around the bottom of the tunnel where the pipes run to the front?
When I install my Excell exhaust system I made a block off plate for the tunnel. Kept the snow and ice from packing up in there. Trunk still stayed cold tho.
