Just got off the phone with the parts department at my dealer. Verified there was a change in the chain case cover for 07. Old # 8FR-47543-00-00 new # 8FR-4753-01-00. Only difference is the 1. It appears that there are other changes to the chain case. This is from Highlands Yamaha web site. Notice all the numbers that say superceed.

NO, they are not going to replace everones for free.... Come on Brian, think about it. Most warranty claims go on a sled by sled basis.

I talked to Fix Powersports and they said yamaha told them to onlly replace cover if they can see it is warped or leaking.
Go figure.
I had no problems last year and will be running 75-90 mobile 1 gear lube this year and trust all will go well.

I called my dealer and he ordered me the updated chain case with no questions. He's doing that and the handle bar update for me the second week of december.
