1300kms on the quad and I took it apart to have a look at the clutches and aside from removing the belt and cleaning the sheaves, cover etc what else could ther ebe done as far as maintenance or maybe just leave it be? Does anyone know why there is an inch of grease that the primary seems to float on?

keeps the rollers quiet. there is an aftermarket kit that converts it to greaseless. if it has not had water in it at any point, it should be fine.

Never saw those before... you have a link?

I will ask kirkswim as he did the research for his rhino.

here is an install vid for a rhino 700 kit from one company, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1byFPT_X9ow .

apparently there are a couple of others doing this as well.

Just the weights alone will give you that much top end change? I want to do this on my Grizz 700... need help finding the correct kit... and suggestions?

I shot kirkswim a text as he was the one that did all the research and told him to look at this thread. he was looking into it for sapplingkillers grizzly 660 as he tests his snorkels frequently.

kirk has not done the mod yet. just doing research atm.
