I know the best way to improve the steering on the 08 fx nytro is to replace the skis, but right now I really don't want to spend $400.00 for skis and another $100 for carbides.
Is there a good set of single or double carbides I can put on my sled that will help the steering and get me through the season?

And turn your ski rubbers 180* so the slots on the rubber faces forward.

Yes. 144 down the middle in a 4-2 pattern.

I heard good things about the studboy deuce bars on the stock skis. I've never tried them though. I also heard really good things about snowtrackers. I know some guys who have them on their cats, and apparently they work really well and the carbides are self sharpening. These guys had them for three years now and they still bite real good. I don't know how they will affect steering effort on the Nytro.
