08 nytro handlebar risers

What have members learned about putting handlebar risers on an 08 nytro? How high can I go with stock cables?

Try the search function to get some more info on the subject, as this has been covered many times previously, but I believe without replacing the e-brake cable you can go to about 3 inches. You'll probably have to replace the cable and reroute the throttle cable under the bars to go much higher with stock bars.

The mountain sleds use longer throttle and brake cables, and a longer brake hose. Stock riser on the MTXs are 6" tall.

OFT Relocator.... I'm 6 feet tall didn't buy a riser and my handlbars are perfect.... No Cable extension needed... Brings the handlebars up and forward slightly, so much better.

I got the oft relocator and a 4 inch riser block. I think that is as tall as you can go...I figure its close to 4 inches taller than stock. They figure 2 inches taller with the relocator, and another 2 with the taller riser block.

I can't imagine needing anything taller than that, I'm 6'3" and can stand up with my arms relaxed with a little bend in the elbow. I have a 2 inch seat riser, without the seat riser sitting wouldn't be very comfy with bars that high.

I have a five inch riser on my 2008 fx nytro RTX which has different mounting point then 2008 fx nytro.

No need to extend teh cables for me.
