Hello everyone,
I am working on an 09 Nytro that does not start. I bought it this way, so not much is known on history of it.
Few things I did check:
When key is ON, there is no power to the fuel pump.
When the engine is cranking, there is power to the pump and the engine is running, as long as I hold the key in start position.
I have swapped the fuel pump relay with another one.
I checked the power from the Red/blue wire at the ECU (see attached photo) and there is power only when the engine is cranking, otherwise it's a ground. Naturally the same thing is at the fuel pump, only power when cranking.
All the fuses seem ok.
Help me out here, all things point to a faulty ECU, but I would like to know if something else, like another bad sensor could be telling the ECU not to send power to the fuel pump/relay?

I'm having this very same issue at the moment, did you ever get a response?
