09 or 10 lower ball joints

I have done my research on the site but feel like there are different answers for this question. Do the 2010 lower ball joints fit the 2009 lower arms as long as you order the four collar pieces? Has anyone done this.

Some post say there is a new ball joint for the 2009's that is better then the originals but looks the same and you don't need the collar pieces while others say the 2010's are the better ones. Confused

Yes, I installed the 2010 version with spacers in my 08 Nytro.

I can't say which is better. Mine has 4100 kms on them and the one side is starting to get loose. Poor if you ask me. But anyways. If you order the 2010 vs. there's two spacers that go above and below the balljoint. Going off of memory they're # 31 in a parts diagram.

I was looking at replacing mine but at 90 dollars a peice plus the spacers I imagine I decided to hold off till next year.
