Yes, today at idle thats what is does, today is 60 degrees f (16 c). This week has been pretty worm witch is normall but since september it has been around 40-50 not normal benn it thouse temp the fan would kick on a little later and not as long. My sled is technecly still in engine brake in but I had no problems what so ever and ran on frozen snow most of the season (no groomed trails for 20 mi just field and ditch). Like Len Todd said, cheak your thermostat the can caues ploblems very easly or dirt in the system could have easly caused the problem two. Normly I would do every thing myself but if its still under warrenty have them take a look at. Mine is an 08 however but nothing changed in the enigine area.

we had this very thing happen to a buddys phazer last year while we were out at the black hills ,had a day long fresh snow with warmer temps, and his phazer started to heat up,we had to stop and it actually had a" ice shell"over the heat exchanger had to clean it out before the thing would work rightLen Todd said:mx1500 said:... make sure you don't have snow built up on the outside of your rad. the part thats exposed to the elements
Interesting point. If Ice forms a shield over the heat exchanger, snow can not get to it to cool it.

yea thats something il have to keep in mind, should i just bring it in since its still under warrenty il probably get a free coolant flush out of it lol.
I have a feeling the dealership dident do that great of a test since when i picked it up there was acctualy 0KMs on the odometer... is this normal, when my dad picked up his t660 there was about 10kms on it and it was new when we wend to buy it they couldent even start it since the tests wernt done meaning no one test drove it

Would adding vents on the pannel that the cooling radiator is make a difference on the air circulation making the cooling better i mean when the fan is running i dont feel any air comming out of the vent that are already there...

the fan possition indicates that it should be pulling air past the colling fins. I dint know if it would make much of a diffrence becaues if air is barly moving around it is just collingg by spead but if you riding forced air would help. Thats also what the fan is for the mounted it more towrds the bottom when cold air does not get well. If you want to vent it get a big frogskin patch but the radiatior can be easly dammaged then. Also, take a look at your heat extanger make shre that has no dammage at it either.
